‘Stories in the Land’ Exhibition (Scottish Storytelling Centre, Edinburgh)

The Stories in the Land Exhibition ran at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh as part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2013 Once upon a Journey from Saturday 18th October – Saturday 2nd November 2013. We hope to tour this exhibition.

‘Stories in the Land’ is an exciting bilingual exhibition of story, music, art & craft created by young people from Lochaber and Badenoch. Celebrating the epic journeys of the Scottish drovers, a major focus has been collecting, creating and telling stories while providing opportunities to take part in journeys (on foot, with ponies and even a pony & cart). The  journeys have involved a diverse group of people including professional storytellers; Essie Stewart, Claire Hewitt, Alasdair Taylor and Alastair Davidson.
